Abstract: This study aims to identify factors influencing job satisfaction in the IT industry. Using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) machine learning technique, over 5,000 employee reviews from 17 leading digital companies are analyzed. The analysis reveals nine key topics IT employees value: management skills and responsibilities, workplace culture and environment, and job experience and flexibility. The comparison of LDA topics with those of a human rater shows moderate overlap with topics identified by independent researchers in work culture and environment, management, career advancement, work-life balance, and compensation and benefits. The sentiment analysis reveals that most reviews are positive.
